With 20 years in Event Management, I could not fault anything about the exquisite food and service from this team headed up by Lily. . It was Mums 100th celebration, and they were thinking of the guests needs even before we realised we needed something. Yes, a minimum spend applies to book the space for your special event, which can include your room hire, food, and beverages. Our team will work with you to create a package that meets this minimum while suiting your vision (and budget!).
Every event package includes exclusive use of your space, a dedicated event coordinator, professional event management, white or black linen, full tableware set up, and a private licensed bar.

Absolutely. We welcome external DJs, live bands and acoustic musicians. We just ask that you let us know in advance so we can ensure appropriate space, power access and timing.

We are a fully licensed venue, so all food and beverages must be ordered and prepared onsite by our culinary team. However, we do welcome you to bring a celebratory cake – just speak with our Functions team if you plan to do so.
Yes! You are welcome to bring a celebratory cake with prior approval. A cakeage fee may apply depending on whether you’d like us to serve it or provide self-service options.
You will have selected the Wade Core Function Centre space for the entire duration of your booking. If you have booked for a smaller group, there may be another event held in the room adjacent. But don’t worry! Our walls are soundproof and ensure privacy for you and your guests.
Please note: the Wade Core Function Centre restrooms are located outside the Function space and are shared among all guests. There are also designated outdoor smoking areas within the venue.
Yes! There is ample parking available onsite at Carina Leagues Club.
The minimum function duration is 5 hours, with the option to extend available at an extra charge. Please enquire about extending your event booking with our Functions Team before the day.
