We had our staff Christmas party here – yesterday 13th Dec – and was not disappointed at all. From the time we walked in to the club the atmosphere was buzzing with Christmas cheer and the [Function Centre] was set for a great afternoon ahead. Kate, the Function Manager, was amazing with a warm smile and ready to make everyone’s day enjoyable. Nothing was too hard for her – even after the party finished, she was still checking in with anyone who stayed to party on. I hope our company chooses the club for next years event.
Breezway held our Annual Christmas Function at the Wade Core Function [Centre] in Carina Leagues Club and had a fantastic night celebrating. The staff and service on the night were excellent, and they were very accommodating to all requests. Special mention to Kate, the Function Manager, on the night who was very attentive and organised – she even had the room all set up prior to arrival and the whole night was stress free.We highly recommend the Wade Core Function Centre for all types of events. We’ve hosted multiple events at the [Wade Core Function Centre] at Carina Leagues Club – from small meetings of 16 to larger gatherings of 65 – and each one has been a standout experience. The staff are absolute legends – always friendly, flexible, and full of helpful suggestions that make everything run like clockwork. Nothing is ever too much trouble, whether it’s last-minute changes to the room layout or tweaks to the menu. And they do it all with a smile! Every one of our conference guests, across all events, has consistently rated the venue, food, and staff very highly. The Leagues Club’s location is also a huge plus – easy to get to, with hotels nearby and plenty of free parking.
The [Wade Core Function Centre] venue is a gem – two versatile rooms that can be used together or separately, plus extra breakout spaces. The room access for bump-in is great, and the AV setup (screens, sound systems, etc.) works seamlessly every time. There are multiple meal space options to suit all styles – whether formal or casual – and the variety of areas available has allowed us to run games, breakout sessions, and meals with ease.

What a glorious wedding celebration was held here. The staff were kind and efficient. The food was delicious. Kate’s attention to detail was exceptional, even tissues for all the happy tears on this beautiful day.
We recently held our wedding reception at Carina Leagues Club in their Function [Centre] – and we couldn’t be more grateful. Our original venue had to cancel on the morning of the wedding due to Cyclone Alfred, and Carina Leagues stepped in at the last minute to help us pull everything together
The staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating, helping us create a beautiful reception space in such a short amount of time. The room looked lovely, the food was great, and the team’s support truly turned a stressful situation into a joyful celebration. We’ll always remember their kindness and professionalism during such an important moment for us.
Kate managed our grandmother’s wake on Friday. She was phenomenal, went above and beyond, nothing was too difficult, and she ensured the event ran smoothly. We would certainly recommend this venue. Thank you also to Owen, who organised this event.
With 20 years in Event Management, I could not fault anything about the exquisite food and service from this team headed up by Lily. . It was Mums 100th celebration, and they were thinking of the guests needs even before we realised we needed something. You will have the selected Wade Core Function Centre space for the entire duration of your booking.
If you have booked for a smaller group, there may be another event held in the room adjacent. But don’t worry! Our walls are semi-soundproof and ensure privacy for you and your guests. Please note that Wade Core Function Centre restrooms are located outside the Function space and are shared among all guests. There are also designated outdoor smoking areas within the venue
Yes! There is ample parking available onsite at the Carina Leagues Club.
Yes! You’re welcome to provide your own entertainment, such as a DJ or jukebox, or make use of the venue’s Bluetooth capability to play music directly from your own devices. Alternatively, we can provide in-house music to suit the atmosphere of your event.
Our standard function duration is 5 hours – with the option to extend the party for an extra charge. Please enquire about extending your event with our Functions Team prior to the day.
Yes! The Wade Core Function Centre is fully in doors and air conditioned, so you and your guests will be comfortable no matter the weather outside.
