Our Commitment to the Local Community
Carina Leagues Club has been proudly supporting the local community for over 38 years with our contributions for the year ended 30th June 2009 in excess of $830,000. This contribution has assisted our Junior Football Club, various schools, sporting organisations, community funds and individuals via a variety of means from the donation of money, goods or equipment through to free use of our facilities.

Partners in the Local Community
Carina Leagues Club has launched its partnership with charity organization, Kids Undercover with the aim to make a real difference in our local community.
Established in 1989 in Victoria and commencing operations in Queensland in 2008, Kids Undercover is an organization that constructs purpose-built ‘bungalows’ to provide extra room that supports families confronting issues of homelessness, breakdown or space.
Carina Leagues Club has committed to funding a ‘bungalow’ in the Carina area in conjunction with John Margaritis and the team at Carina Youth Agency. The bungalow will be built at the Phoenix House accommodation centre in Old Cleveland Road and provide emergency accommodation for those in need.
